Russel Mord — Associational Missions Strategist
Dr. Russell Mord began service as AMS for Golden Triangle Baptist Association in May 2017. He has been in vocational ministry since September 2001, when he became pastor of Sturgis Baptist Church in Oktibbeha County. Russell has a B.A. from Mississippi State University, an M.Div. from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, and a D.Min. from NOBTS.
Angie Harper — Ministry Assistant/Promotion
Angie Harper began her service to the Golden Triangle Baptist Association in September 2010. She has been in the Youth Ministry since 1993 and is currently serving at New Salem Baptist Church in Caledonia, Mississippi. Angie feels that the Ministry allows us to enjoy a front row seat to people grasping the gospel, to being sent on mission, and the beauty of Christian community.
Maggie Giles — Ministry Assistant/Finance
Maggie Giles began her service to the Golden Triangle Baptist Association in January 2024. She has been in the Children’s Ministry since May 2006 and is currently serving at New Salem Baptist Church in Caledonia, Mississippi. Maggie enjoys forming meaningful relationships with other churches and fellow believers and being a part of the community that is the Ministry
